Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Technician

Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with endoscopic procedures and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in room setup, turnover, cleaning, and restocking of medical instruments and equipment.
- Perform duties related to processing, decontamination, and maintenance of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to manufacturer specifications and facility policies.
- Notify your supervisor of any potential defects to equipment and work to facilitate maintenance/repair with the manufacturer.
- Understand and practice principles of universal precautions and hazardous materials management when processing instruments, equipment, and supplies through the stages of decontamination.
- Perform weekly scope surveillance sampling and culturing.
- Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week
