We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications * Demonstrates a high level of technical and operational expertise in performing Endoscopy procedures. * Demonstrates knowledge of reprocessing endoscopes, accessories and automatic washers. * Establishes a physical environment conducive to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care. * Assumes responsibility/accountability for all coverage, weekly hours worked and assigned committee tasks. * Assumes responsibility for professional development through continuing education and inservices. * Anticipates and maintains adequate inventory of supplies and medications while controlling costs and eliminating waste. * Demonstrates proficiency in hospital information systems, to include Meditech and/or SSI systems. What qualifications you will need: EDUCATION: * High school graduate or GED. Must have current, valid CPR certification. - Required EXPERIENCE: * Previous experience in healthcare or a related field. - Preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: * American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider - Required CJW Medical Center is comprised of Chippenham Hospital and Johnston-Willis Hospital.
