About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team at Allstar Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing restoration services to clients affected by disasters such as fires, floods, and other catastrophic events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Restoration Services: Assess and restore properties damaged by fire, mold, water, sewage, trauma/crime scenes, and weather-related events.
  • Perform Water Extraction and Drying: Extract water from affected areas and dry carpets, floors, and other materials to prevent further damage.
  • Mold and Mildew Remediation: Identify and remediate mold and mildew growth in affected areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Debris Removal and Demolition: Remove debris and demolish damaged structures to prepare for reconstruction.
  • Belongings Preservation: Pack and store belongings in a secure off-site location to prevent further damage or loss.
Requirements
  • Expertise with Hand Tools: Possess expertise in using hand tools to perform restoration services.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors through effective communication and listening skills.
  • Physical Fitness and Stamina: Possess the physical fitness and stamina required to perform cleanup work in various environments.
  • Comfort with Fieldwork: Be comfortable working in field environments, including those affected by sewage, mold, blood, or other bodily fluids.
  • Training and Development: Be willing to train on-site and develop skills to meet the evolving needs of the role.
