Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Windows Engineer to join our team at Powder River Industries, LLC.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills. As a Windows Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting design-level efforts and building systems as well as providing advanced knowledge and administration of Windows Active Directory.

  • Research and collaborate with team members to resolve issues and act as an escalation point for support inquiries.
  • Develop and submit change requests and track completion for software upgrades and patches.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Monitor system/server resources, including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
  • Understand IIS and related web technologies.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and recommend corrective measures on servers/systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Top Secret clearance with investigation current within the last 5 years.
  • On-site presence, with no remote work option.
