Job Title: Instrumentation Technician II

Job Summary:

MILLENNIUMSOFT is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment
  • Develop, execute, and document validations related activities in a timely manner
  • Read, understand, and work from technical manuals, S.O.P's & schematics
  • Develop, review, and revise departmental procedures as required
  • Execute moderate to complex projects with limited supervision
  • Represent Instrumentation in a professional and positive manner to internal and external customers, vendors, and other groups within the company
  • Assist in the education of end users on basic calibration principles and requirements
  • Perform basic record keeping and data management activities
  • Experience with system databases such as SAP, CalMan, Microsoft Access, Project, PowerPoint & Excel

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of related work experience with laboratory or hospital equipment
  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience with ISO 9001:2008, 10012, 17025 or 13485
  • Strong working knowledge of calibration principles and good documentation practices
  • Knowledge of Refrigeration Equipment Calibration, Maintenance, Repair, and Troubleshooting is a plus
  • Candidates must have the ability to effectively perform component Level trouble shooting, data analysis, and in depth equipment repair
  • Candidates must have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, shifts in priorities, and time sensitive projects
  • Candidates must be customer service oriented
  • Must possess and be able to demonstrate a moderate understanding of Calibration Principles, Calibration terminology, Loop Checking, Troubleshooting, Start-Up, Maintenance and Repair activities
  • Must be able to use electronic Test Equipment and be able to read schematics
  • Computer and database skills are required

Education:

Requires a High School Diploma or GED (A.S., B.A., or CST Certification is desirable)

Additional Requirements:

  • Requires a current, valid, unrestricted California Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs from the ground floor
