KPMG is actively seeking a Senior Manager to join our Global Compliance Management Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and implementing strategies for targets, including current clients and proposal opportunities.
  • Work closely with and guide internal teams and clients through the transition and execution of tax compliance services engagements, including the data and technology strategies to be utilized.
  • Oversee the overall management of the practice, including the maintenance of key metrics, opportunity status, and other necessary internal reporting.
  • Educate internal teams on tax compliance services and the characteristics to identify potential targets.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of standard processes, available resources, and supporting technology solutions.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:

  • Engage in and contribute to market and business activities outside the firm; assist engagement teams in building and managing client relationships; collaborate with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and expand the tax practice.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of recent experience in tax or accounting with a strong interest in process and technology.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; licensed CPA, EA, JD, or LLM, along with other credentials on KPMG's approved credential list; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials upon commencement of employment must obtain at least one within one year of hire.
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and delegation abilities.
  • Able to work in a national/international team environment, remotely with other team members; capable of working independently with appropriate oversight.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager:

  • A minimum of eight years of recent experience in tax or accounting; experience in mentoring and advising staff/senior level team members.
