**Job Summary**

As a Signs & Markings Technician at the State of Texas, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, operating, and repairing all traffic equipment. This includes replacing damaged or weathered regulatory and guidance signs, adding new, replacing or repainting all pavement markings and legends, fabricating, assembling, and installing traffic signs, poles, and street name signs. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventorying and inspecting signs and markings.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Install, maintain, operate, and repair all traffic equipment
* Replace damaged or weathered regulatory and guidance signs
* Add new, replace or repaint all pavement markings and legends
* Fabricate, assemble, and install traffic signs, poles, and street name signs
* Inventory and inspect signs and markings

**Requirements**

* Ability to work at heights
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor
* Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of traffic equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
