Job Title: Powder Painter

At Metalcraft of Mayville, we are seeking a skilled Powder Painter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying powder paint to production parts with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply powder paint to production parts using manual powder gun application
  • Troubleshoot powder application issues and perform color changes on automatic powder application equipment
  • Follow direction of powder room coordinator on how to apply powder in certain areas of parts
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required on the line
  • Report any issues on bad racking or needed improvement that will affect quality
  • Mark product that has any defect to make sure it is not passed onto our customers
Requirements:
  • 2 years experience with powder application
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments
  • Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently
  • Knowledge of Basic Print reading and torque values
Working Conditions:

Regularly exposed to varying temperature conditions between degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, moving machinery parts, airborne particles, and fumes from production equipment.
