Position Overview

Fairview Health Services is currently seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine Nocturnist Physician to become a vital member of the Hospital Medicine team.

  • Full-Time Equivalent: 1.0
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of over 20 hospitalists
  • Manage an average of 5-7 admissions per shift
  • Participate in a resident physician-led rapid response team and code response
  • Shift Schedule: 9 PM to 9 AM
  • Remote cross-cover assistance available until midnight
  • Admissions support until 1 AM
  • Two Nocturnists scheduled per shift
  • The facility is a 184-bed community hospital offering a diverse range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including innovative technologies like the intensivist program and 24-hour in-house obstetrics coverage.
  • The hospital is affiliated with the University of Minnesota's Family Medicine & Community Health residency program.
  • H1B Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency training program
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible with the ABMS
  • Licensed or eligible for Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
  • Meet the threshold criteria for Credentialing and Privileges
