Job Summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a highly skilled VoIP Administrator to provide expert telephone and network support for Columbus AFB. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in VoIP technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and test all aspects of the Cisco VoIP system, including Cisco Unified Call Manager and Unity Connection.
  • Configure and maintain integrated applications such as CAIRS and e911.
  • Act as the point of contact for working with DISA on DSN configurations, Session Border Controllers, trunks, and local units.
  • Assist coworkers in server and network actions.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience supporting VoIP technology and systems. The ideal candidate will be Security+ CE certified and hold a Microsoft or Cisco certification. Cisco Collaboration certification is a plus. Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager administration and Cisco Unity Connection is desired. Knowledge of network routing and traffic with Cisco or Juniper is preferred. Familiarity with best practices for telephony, network configurations, network security, and server configurations is essential. Knowledge of STIGS and DISA/DoD/AF regulations is a plus. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a self-starter, and customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
