Dewberry is seeking a skilled Site/Civil Project Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site/Civil Project Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including site/civil design for commercial and industrial site development, higher education, parks & recreation, and capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience with design and construction of land development and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Site/civil development including grading design, utility design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Preparation of all associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience directly related to design and construction of land development and capital improvement projects.
  • EIT required, PE preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water CAD, Storm CAD, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
