About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Float Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in accordance with physician orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general radiographic and specialty images using clinical protocols, positioning patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while respecting their comfort and ability.
  • Obtain images in accordance with proper radiographic techniques, evaluating them for technical quality and ensuring proper identification is recorded.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other employees, providing timely and responsive expert services in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Maintain safe radiation levels at all times, following written policy and procedure manuals on radiation safety rules and performing necessary equipment checks prior to use.
  • Collaborate with the lead technologist and radiology leadership to coordinate new employee training and orientation, identify staff training issues, and participate in operational policy and procedures development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program by the time of hire.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of direct experience with diagnostic procedures.
