Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to support our Interventional Radiology team at Fairfax Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services using various modalities, including neurovascular and endovascular angiography examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to collect data pre/post-procedure and prepare patients for procedures in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CVIR).
  • Safely and competently operate all radiographic, processing, and inventory equipment in CVIR.
  • Act as a Liaison between physician, family, and other interdepartmental units.
  • Participate with teams in unit assignment quality assurance projects.
Requirements:
  • Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional(CI)
  • Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital.
  • Experience - One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Education -Vocational/Technical in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography; Associate or higher degree preferred.
