Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse PCU Specialist to join our team at Protouch Staffing. As a Nurse PCU Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a PCU setting
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- Current Healthcare Provider ACLS and BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a RN in a high acuity PCU or critical care unit
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
