We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Expert III to join our cloud computing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, scripting, testing, and deploying infrastructure as code and cloud native API commands via automation/orchestration using tools such as JSON, Ansible, DSL, Python, Jenkins, Chef, and Terraform.
Key Responsibilities- Builds, scripts, tests, and deploys infrastructure as code and cloud native API commands via automation/orchestration.
- Writes infrastructure as code for cloud native service deployment and hosted application deployment to cloud services.
- Provides cloud service expertise to cloud-deployed applications, assisting application developers with integrating application-specific components into available cloud services.
- Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of infrastructure as code when necessary, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of infrastructure as code intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Works within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance at minimum.
- Candidate must have active/current 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or other applicable cert).
- Candidate must live near Dayton, OH or Montgomery, AL for SIPR access when needed.
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree.
- Candidate must have 15+ years of general experience in IT (system administration, scripting, software development, etc).
- Candidate must have 5+ years specific experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include service deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS GovCloud.
- Preferred certification: DoD IAT Level II.
- Specific experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (design, implementation, testing/validation, support/maintenance, collaboration).
- Experience in migrating applications to AWS GovCloud.

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary Description $160,000 - $190,000
