Job Summary

The Learning and Development Consultant is a key role at Bigos Management, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that equip employees with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform and grow in their job. This position will support the training, development, and engagement of employees at all levels of the organization, collaborating across departments to identify learning needs and create effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and create solutions
  • Design and deliver learning offerings and resources using various modalities, including instructor-led classes, online courses, and job aids
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external learning opportunities and maintain accurate registration records
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning offerings and resources through employee performance and feedback
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) software, troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining content
  • Support Human Resources efforts to educate employees on onboarding, employment policies, and leadership programs
  • Identify core knowledge and skills for new employees and design onboarding learning plans
  • Attain an understanding of operational policies and procedures, leasing practices, and marketing programs
  • Leverage technology and project planning to execute conferences, workshops, and departmental initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field

• Four or more years of experience in training, teaching, human resources, leadership, or coaching, preferably in multi-family or service industries

• Knowledge of adult learning theories and experience using Microsoft Office

• Experience with LMS and design software preferred

• Knowledge of property management preferred

• Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication

• Ability to use tact, diplomacy, and a courteous manner when collaborating with internal and external customers

• Ability to build authentic relationships and provide constructive feedback and coaching

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

• Graphic and instructional design skillsets to create engaging learning content

• Enthusiasm and ability to create momentum and facilitate change

• Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously with self-direction and nimbleness

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit to serve

• Planning, organization, and time-management skills

• Desire to learn and innovate, and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
