Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure the provision of excellent care services to clients.
    • Supervise and coordinate the daily routines of care staff, including meal preparation, client activities, and cleaning duties.
  • Clinical Oversight
    • Oversee the intake assessment and review of day care clients, including those with dementia.
    • Work with the centre nurse to ensure clients' specific needs are met and communicated to the team.
  • Program Development and Coordination
    • Coordinate and plan programs and services with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Direct and guide the orientation and training of new staff, and provide ongoing training and monitoring of care staff.
  • Incident Management
    • Take charge of incidents in the centre related to staff, clients, and volunteers.
    • Ensure that incidents are resolved, reported, and followed up.
  • Financial Management
    • Work with the Centralised Team to ensure accurate billing and charges for clients.
    • Collaborate with the Cluster Lead to ensure financial sustainability of the centre.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of communications, assessments, and processes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Minimum degree in any field of study from a recognized institution.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant operations work experience from a healthcare/eldercare/social services institution.
    • Prior experience in leading a team or holding a supervisory or managerial position in the healthcare industry.
