Job Summary

The Clinical Operations Director, Medical Office is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Medical Office, ensuring high-quality patient care services, and managing staff and activities. This role requires a licensed professional with experience in healthcare management and nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations, including staff and activities, to ensure efficient and effective patient care services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and administrative personnel to ensure maximum organizational efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors to ensure contract compliance and effective levels of support.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital equipment budgets in conjunction with medical staff and administrative personnel.
  • Collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and answer correspondence as needed.
  • Participate in professional development activities and adhere to all Mount Sinai Compliance Program Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing required.
  • Master in nursing or health-related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of nursing clinical care with 3 years Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience and 1 year Healthcare management experience preferred.
  • Must have relevant clinical competence in the area of nursing practice assigned.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
