Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and promptly attend to their needs.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders, providing recommendations as necessary.
  • Efficiently serve food and drinks to guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare cocktails and other beverages by mixing various ingredients.
  • Prepare garnishes and other items for drink presentation.
  • Share menu knowledge to assist guests with inquiries and special requests.
  • Record orders and transactions accurately in the POS system.
  • Ensure the quality of products before serving to guests.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to promote food and beverage offerings.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their experience.
  • Present checks and ensure full payment is collected.
  • Adhere to proper cash handling procedures.
  • Communicate item availability to the waitstaff and management.
  • Complete assigned opening and closing side worksheets for each shift.
  • Assist fellow team members as needed.
  • Report tips in accordance with IRS standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
  • Minimum of six months experience as a bartender in a restaurant setting required.
