Ashland Credit Union is a member-focused, non-profit financial institution that has been delivering outstanding service for over 80 years. Position Overview:
ACU is excited to offer a position for a Financial Wellness Consultant within our Member Experience Department. This role is essential in executing ACU's strategic mission through the consistent application of policies, procedures, and financial wellness dialogues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ active listening techniques to comprehend member needs related to service transactions and new account openings.
- Enhance member experiences and foster loyalty by effectively addressing member needs through both service and sales avenues, proactively offering solutions tailored to their relationship with ACU.
- Assess risk scenarios using sound judgment, high ethical standards, and prudence, supported by a thorough understanding of ACU policies and procedures.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in all interactions with members, colleagues, board members, and volunteers.
- Engage in all mandatory compliance and behavioral skill training to ensure exceptional job performance.
- Utilize available resources, including outbound communications, financial wellness discussions, targeted outreach initiatives, and influential activities to maximize each member interaction.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Senior Leadership or management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in cash handling
Strong verbal communication abilities
Effective problem-solving skills
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, with occasional extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays as part of a team rotation.
