Position Summary:

ACU is excited to offer a position for a Financial Wellness Consultant within our Member Experience Department. This role is pivotal in understanding and executing ACU's strategic mission through the consistent application of policies, procedures, member engagement behaviors, and financial wellness discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employ active listening techniques to accurately assess member needs related to service transactions and new account openings.
  2. Enhance member experiences and foster loyalty by effectively addressing member needs through both service and sales channels, proactively offering solutions related to their relationship with ACU.
  3. Mitigate risk scenarios by exercising sound judgment, high ethical standards, and prudence, grounded in a comprehensive understanding of ACU policies and procedures.
  4. Serve as a brand ambassador in all interactions with members, colleagues, board members, and volunteers.
  5. Engage in all mandatory compliance and behavioral skill training to ensure exceptional job performance.
  6. Utilize available resources, including outbound calls, financial wellness discussions, targeted outreach initiatives, and community engagement activities to maximize each member interaction.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned by Senior Leadership or management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities

Availability:

Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, with occasional extended hours on Fridays and Saturday mornings as part of a team rotation.
