We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Lab Technician to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a Medical Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing laboratory tests and analyzing results.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collect and process blood and other bodily fluids for testing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes and automated analyzers.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate test results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes and patient care.
- Associate of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completion of an official military medical laboratory training course.
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Technician.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP_MLT or AMT_MLT).
