Job Overview

As a Food Service Operations Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing food preparation, portioning meals, and serving our valued patrons. We seek individuals who are collaborative, detail-oriented, responsible, and, most importantly, bring a positive demeanor to the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items and ensure proper dating of products.
  • Organize and support the setup and breakdown of stations as designated by management.
  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when preparing and serving items.
  • Maintain daily logs of food temperatures.
  • Conduct quality checks on food items before serving to customers.
  • Notify management of any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists for workstations.
  • Welcome customers as they approach and leave the serving area.
  • Solicit feedback from customers regarding their service experience and address any concerns with a positive attitude.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including all surfaces and equipment.
  • Ensure all work areas and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Manage the disposal of waste from the service area accurately.
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety assessments and report any hazards to management immediately.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Be prepared to work in catering, concessions, and special events as directed by management.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by management on a regular basis.
  • Guide and support team members to ensure efficient and timely service to customers.
Qualifications

- Food Service Certification as required
- Adequate education or training to read, write, and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
