At Smith Equipment, we're seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our company.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with our experienced engineers to design, develop, and test innovative mechanical systems
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive project success and meet business objectives
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including design, analysis, and testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other engineering software
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
