Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Mindful Behavioral Healthcare. As a key member of our call center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients, handling inbound and outbound calls, and resolving inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer daily telephone calls professionally, providing general information to patients and clients about our practice, its services, and clinical staff.
  • Schedule patient appointments, cancel and reschedule appointments, and redirect callers to the appropriate department staff.
  • Check voicemail messages submitted by the answering service company system and respond or redirect callers accordingly.
  • Ensure that all referrals are scanned into our electronic medical records promptly, after assigned actions are completed.
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or his/her designee.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry and information retrieval.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology or experience in a medical office is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate phone systems efficiently and follow phone etiquette guidelines.
