Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information and employment contracts.
- Manage workers' compensation documentation, including incident reports and claims.
- Follow up on workers' compensation cases and liaise with insurance providers.
- Assist in coordinating new employee orientations and preparing onboarding materials.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Enter and update employee data in the HRIS to maintain up-to-date records.
- Assist in preparing HR-related documents, such as employment verification letters and disciplinary memos.
- Monitor employee attendance records and process time-off requests.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws is a plus.
