Job Description

Are you passionate about business development in a healthcare setting? Landmark Hospital of SouthWest Florida, a Critical Care / Long-Term Acute Hospital (LTACH), is expanding its services to the larger metro area, including Fort Myers, Naples, and Cape Coral. We are seeking a Healthcare and/or Sales professional with experience and relationships to join our team as a Business Development / Clinical Liaison.

As a Clinical Liaison at Landmark Hospital, you will use strategic business planning, community outreach, and analytical skills to drive patient referrals and admissions to our facility. You will identify and increase market share through research, networking, and working with referral sources. You will support the comprehensive health needs of patients and families through a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy to promote quality and cost-effective outcomes.

This role is responsible for proactively initiating new client partnerships and cultivating durable relationships with prospective clients while maintaining collaborative relationships with key referral sources. You will assist with clinical assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and provide insights and education to referring partners on the services and benefits of LTACH placements and programs.

Requirements for Clinical Liaison / Business Development Specialist

  1. Professional Healthcare License (RN, LPN, RT, PT, OT, etc) - preferred
  2. 1-3 years of related experience in Healthcare
  3. Possess the ability to influence and provide appropriate clinical evaluation and input regarding patients
  4. Sales/Business Development strongly preferred
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Must be self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
  7. Able to travel (by car) extensively within the market
