At Toyota South Atlanta, we are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for repairing damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Remove and replace damaged body panels, fenders, and grills using hand tools and power tools.
- Repair and straighten bent automobile frames using a pneumatic frame-straightening machine.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
- Refinish repaired surfaces using paint spray guns and sanders.
- Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually loud.
