Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver Direct Support Professional to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home or clinic setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with their personal care needs, including toileting and feeding.
  • Encourage and promote independence and self-advocacy among individuals.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for some positions.
