Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Case Manager to join our team in Gainesville, Orlando, and Valdosta. As a Field Case Manager, you will be responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for injured workers
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor progress and report results to employers and insurance carriers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to injured workers and their families
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered compact registered nurse (RN) license in FL or GA
  • Experience in worker's compensation catastrophic case management required
  • Critical care experience, catastrophic injury/illness case management, and/or disability management experience preferred
  • Required certification - CCM, CRRN, COHN, or COHN-S
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of traditional business hours (evenings or weekends) if needed
  • Skills needed: organization and timeline adherence; PC and technology; communication (written, verbal and interpersonal)
