About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Development Expert to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our People & Organization Practice, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with our global topic leads and colleagues to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. You will work closely with case teams to provide expert advisory, knowledge assets, and advanced analysis, helping to structure and solve complex issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for driving the development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support our Talent & Skills business. This will involve working with business leaders to drive proposals and go-to-market efforts, as well as contributing to commercialization efforts for the Talent & Skills topic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients
  • Work closely with case teams to provide expert advisory, knowledge assets, and advanced analysis
  • Drive the development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support our Talent & Skills business
  • Work with business leaders to drive proposals and go-to-market efforts
  • Contribute to commercialization efforts for the Talent & Skills topic
Requirements
  • 8+ years consulting experience in top-tier strategy consulting firm in relevant talent & HR topics
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred in similar focus areas, with demonstrated leadership role & responsibility for delivering output & impact
  • Track record of collaborative team management of 3+ direct reports with strong leadership & coaching skills, with experience working in a matrix organization
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred) with high academic achievement
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end talent lifecycle with a specific focus on talent management, strategic workforce planning, job & skill taxonomy and architecture, skills assessment, and people analytics
  • Fluency in English
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
