Job Description

Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our restaurant, including financial performance, customer satisfaction, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Performance: Work with our Area Coach to create monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial goals. Monitor control issues within each unit to verify consistent results against all financial control procedures.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Conduct monthly HQSC (Quality, Service, and Cleanliness) to improve the level of food quality, service, and cleanliness in each unit. Work with managers and hourly employees to identify areas of focus and determine the priority of items to be accomplished within coach's area.
  • Employee Development: Participate in the recruitment and training of each member of management and hourly employee teams to communicate the philosophy of building sales. Develop and implement training programs to ensure all employees have completed all learning zone modules for their position.
  • Operational Excellence: Verify staffing levels in unit to ensure proper staffing to maximize sales on each and every shift. Work with our Area Coach and management teams to create specific and measurable action plans to improve HQSC and mystery call scores.

Requirements:

  • Work Requirements: Work a minimum of 40-45 hours a week if hourly and more if needed. Salaried managers work 50-55 hours a week and more if store underperforming or understaffed. Cover 9 peak periods a week. Close store at least 2 times a week (inventory counts as a close) if labor not ran.
  • Availability: Schedule in to by 11:00AM on Friday and posted Friday after dinner rush. Available for store and Area Coach to get a hold of at all times.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
