Phlebotomy Opportunity in Santa Barbara

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at a federally qualified health center in Santa Barbara. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Process and prepare insurance batches for claims processing
  • Handle patient-related billing inquiries with insurance companies
  • Assist in benefit verifications and authorizations
  • Prepare patient refunds due from insurance EOBs
  • Enter patient insurance demographics and charges
  • Update and edit patient demographics as needed
Requirements:
  • CPT Certification
  • Spanish preferred
  • 6-month contract to hire
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
