Director of Administrative Operations, Obstetrics and Gynecology

This position serves as the lead for the operational, financial, regulatory, and business activities of the Obstetrics and Gynecology unit in the College of Medicine. The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans, annual goals, and administrative direction for the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management / Business Development: Develop the annual budget, provide monthly financial reporting and forecasting, manage cash flow, and oversee capital spending and expenditures.
- Operations Management: Oversee maintenance, repair, remodeling, and equipment purchases, manage off-site practices, and direct all day-to-day administrative activities.
- Grants Management: Responsible for oversight of grant activities, ensuring research aims are met and compliance with regulations.
- Human Resources: Recruit, select, evaluate, and train administrative staff, oversee and direct recruitment activities of faculty, physicians, and staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of administrative/management experience, with management experience in a healthcare environment desired.
- Strong interpersonal, management, and communication skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
