Academic OBGYN Position in West Virginia

We are excited to announce a remarkable opportunity for an Academic OBGYN position.
- Become part of a vibrant practice alongside a dedicated team of 18 physicians.
- Newly appointed physicians will work collaboratively with a group of 12 generalists.
- The department features 2 MFM specialists, 1 REI expert, 1 urogynecologist, 1 pediatric and adolescent gynecologist, and 1 pelvic floor therapist.
- Engage in the daily operations of the OBGYN division, providing direct clinical oversight to residents.
- Deliver educational instruction to residents, including lectures, seminars, and clinical teachings in accordance with the curriculum set by the Clerkship Director.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives within the department, assisting in patient recruitment as necessary.
- On-call duties average 3 nights per month, with a corresponding day off following on-call shifts.
- Benefit from a modified hospitalist program that includes faculty coverage.
- Engage in various clinical responsibilities within the department, including collaboration with the Chair on potential OBGYN market initiatives.
- Work with the Curriculum committee to ensure alignment with departmental and institutional objectives.
- Oversee an OBGYN residency program within a teaching hospital that accommodates twelve residents.
- Participate in a three-year neonatal-perinatal fellowship program that hosts one fellow annually.
- Be part of a Medical School that provides a diverse range of training programs, with numerous residents and fellows collaborating with providers in both primary and specialty care.
- Contribute to a healthcare network with over 750 beds, including teaching hospitals and a Pediatric facility dedicated to improving the health of over 1 million individuals.

- Possess an MD or DO Medical Degree.
