This is an exciting opportunity for a Rheumatologist to join our team at West Virginia University in a employed outpatient clinical practice. The position includes academic affiliation teaching Internal Medicine residents, with a call schedule of 1:3 and clinical hours Monday - Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm.
- The new four-story clinic was built in 2007, across the street from the main 303-bed regional medical center and teaching hospital.
- The Infusion Center is located in the hospital, and the clinic has a full lab on-site with X-ray, bone scan, clinical pharmacy, ultrasound, MRI, and CT Scan.
- The Rheumatologist will see on average 20-24 patients in the clinic daily.
- The ideal candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible and have a strong interest in teaching and academic medicine.
- We welcome both experienced and upcoming new graduates to apply.
- We accept J1 and H1B Visas, and EAD permits.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a generous base salary, RVU-based bonuses, and a possible signing bonus.
- Our comprehensive benefits package includes occurrence-based malpractice, health, life, dental, vision, pension plan, LT/ST disability, and 39 days PTO/CME with expenses.
- We also offer a $10,000 relocation package.
