This is an exciting opportunity for a Rheumatologist to join our team at West Virginia University in a employed outpatient clinical practice. The position includes academic affiliation teaching Internal Medicine residents, with a call schedule of 1:3 and very light as Internists take first call.
- Clinical hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm, in a new four-story clinic built in 2007, across the street from the main 303-bed regional medical center and teaching hospital.
- The clinic features a full lab on-site, including X-ray, bone scan, clinical pharmacy, as well as ultrasound, MRI, and CT Scan located in the hospital.
- The Rheumatologist will see on average 20-24 patients in the clinic daily.
- We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Rheumatologist with a strong interest in teaching and academic medicine.
- Both J1 and H1B Visas, and EAD permits are accepted.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a generous base salary, RVU-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes occurrence-based malpractice, health, life, dental, vision, pension plan, LT/ST disability, and 39 days PTO/CME with expenses.
