We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to oversee all aspects of procurement and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Manage and maintain supplier databases, including conducting regular supplier audits.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials to meet production and operational needs.

Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of goods.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage the organization and layout of the warehouse to optimize space utilization and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of products to the client's site.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory, reduce waste, and improve inventory turnover.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, providing insights into inventory trends and performance.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and staff to foster a high-performing team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, sales, and production, to ensure smooth operations and communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, warehouse management, or supply chain roles.
  • Proven experience in managing procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
