Heavy Equipment Maintenance Engineer

We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Minnesota Commercial Railway. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing maintenance procedures to ensure the safe operation of our diesel locomotives.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Design and oversee the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Analyze data to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce costs.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, mechanical engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and design.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to lift up to 85 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions.
