Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment while performing preventative maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex diesel equipment issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Collaborate with other technicians and management to resolve complex issues
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals
  • CDL A and DOT certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification
  • Experience administering PM programs
  • Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple functions simultaneously and work effectively with minimal supervision.
