  • Utilize tools such as hacksaws, pipe threaders, and conduit benders to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduits.
  • Assist in pulling wiring through conduits.
  • Strip insulation from wires and splice them by twisting or soldering, followed by securing with tape or terminal caps.
  • Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
  • Install control and distribution devices, including switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, ensuring secure fastening.
  • Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.
  • Test circuit continuity to ensure compatibility and safety using various testing instruments.
  • Monitor the performance of installed systems to identify hazards and determine necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Disassemble and repair faulty electrical systems or equipment.
  • Transport and manage materials, tools, and supplies effectively.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
