Position Summary and Qualifications
As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will conduct diagnostic tests and medical research.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering small doses of radiopharmaceuticals to patients and utilizing advanced imaging technology to capture images of the radioactive materials within the body.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, medical physicists, nuclear pharmacists, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute nuclear medicine procedures, including routine tests and therapies.
- Engage in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement initiatives.

- Adhere to established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.

- Work in accordance with regulatory agencies and accreditation standards.


Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Completion of a two-year or four-year degree in Radiology Technology, followed by training in an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT NM) or eligibility for registry with completion within nine months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Minimum one year of experience in a hospital nuclear medicine department.
- Proficient in completing sonography requisitions and operating nuclear medicine equipment.
- Strong communication skills with patients and medical personnel.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (unless exempt for medical or religious reasons).
