Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos. As a Steward, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing and Sanitation: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen cookware efficiently and promptly, following established procedures and standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the sanitizing standards of all dishwashing equipment, including water changes and temperature checks.
• Cleaning and Organization: Stock and use all cleaning supplies as intended, empty and clean trash cans, and ensure proper trash can placement.
• Assistance and Support: Assist with the organization and stocking of clean dishes, utensils, and cookware as needed, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dishwashing area.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and disposal of waste, and assist in maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

• Sanitation Knowledge: Basic knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the needs of the restaurant.
