Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Design Engineer to join our team at The Boeing Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs, analyzing results, and performing design reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs.
  • Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies.
  • Document processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
  • Develop basic statements of work and participate in technical review of supplier capabilities.
  • Analyze functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 1+ years of experience with commercial or MIL spec connectors and backshells.
  • 1+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of 4+ other engineers.
  • A basic process understanding or experience with wire bundle routing and installation.
  • Familiarity with aircraft electrical safety requirements and certification.
What We Offer

At The Boeing Company, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,950 – 141,450, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid time off.

Please note that this position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
