Fundraising Campaign Coordinator

Overview: This position plays a crucial role in a mission-driven organization, focusing on fostering relationships with fundraising volunteers while implementing creative peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives to surpass revenue targets for LLS's mission within a specified market area. The ultimate goal is to relentlessly pursue cures for cancer.

Reports to: Campaign Development Director
Supervises: May oversee Campaign Development Specialist
Leads: May manage volunteers and committees
Responsibilities:
- Mission Integration
- Collaborate with the Education, Services, and Health Research departments to effectively communicate LLS's overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
- Organize mission-focused local donor cultivation events and identify high-impact donors for national stewardship initiatives.
- Fundraising & Relationship Development
- Drive impactful peer-to-peer fundraising efforts to meet overall revenue objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, including revenue projections, budgeting, goals, and timelines.
- Implement the innovative strategic plan developed annually and adjust as necessary to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Work collaboratively with local relationship teams and national shared service partners across LLS.
- Volunteer Management
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees.
- Engage fundraising volunteers in peer-to-peer initiatives to drive revenue growth and achieve targets.
- Network with constituents and key donors to garner support for LLS fundraising efforts.
- Develop recruitment strategies and actively seek new partners through research and relationship building.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of LLS's mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
Position Requirements:
- Collaborate with the Mission Team to ensure the success of patient access, education, public policy, advocacy, and research.
- Able to supervise volunteer groups effectively.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital, social media, and emerging online channels.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar roles in comparable organizations.
- Work environment is representative of similar positions in comparable organizations.
- May require moving campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds for various events.
- Travel within the designated area may be necessary.
- LLS operates on a 35-hour work week.
- This is a Non-Exempt, hourly paid position.
- Evening or weekend work may be required.
