Position Overview

Stratas Foods is seeking skilled individuals for the role of Production Equipment Technician. The ideal candidates will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks within our production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
  2. Prepare and package products in accordance with company standards.
  3. Set up and operate filling machines, making necessary adjustments based on production requirements.
  4. Conduct thorough cleaning and reassembly of pumps, sanitary lines, and other line equipment.
  5. Monitor and adjust machinery during operation to maintain optimal product flow.
  6. Operate Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and manage the breakdown and cleaning of line components.
  7. Adhere to chemical handling procedures, ensuring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  8. Complete scheduled maintenance tasks, including daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate them effectively.
  10. Report any equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
  11. Address quality concerns during equipment cleaning and operation.
  12. Successfully complete all required qualification assessments.

This position is ideal for: individuals with experience in food production, manufacturing, and machinery operation.
