Job Summary

Cedar Fair is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician II to join our IT team. As a Service Technician II, you will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues, and respond to helpdesk calls and tickets in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to service desk communication channels, recording service requests and incidents in the ticketing system.
  • Install, support, and upgrade computers, POS workstations, and associated peripherals and software, creating software installation packages or images as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine to somewhat complex level one/two hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex and/or high-priority issues to the appropriate support groups for resolution.
  • Assist senior park and corporate IT staff as needed, completing assigned tasks with minimal direction.
  • Provide user systems access, ensuring appropriate approval is provided and documented.
  • May lead service desk-related projects and act as a technical liaison between IT and guests and other associates, always acting in a professional and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Vocational/technical training in IT.
  • 0-2 years of work-related experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and vacation periods to meet business needs.
