Job Summary

We seek a skilled Advanced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate appropriateness of medical orders and ensure timely implementation
  • Proficiently apply mechanical ventilator modalities, including Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation (NIPPV) and Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
  • Perform endotracheal intubation under supervision, extubations, and tracheotomy tube changes
  • Serve as a member of the code/emergency team and administer medical gases
  • Insert nasogastric and orogastric tubes and transport patients requiring mechanical ventilation or airway protection
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program degree (Associates Degree or equivalent)
  • North Carolina State Licensure and Registry (RRT) certification from the National Association for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRPS)
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 annually, with relocation assistance up to $8,000. Additionally, you'll receive benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
