Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care and imaging services. As a Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our interventional imaging services, ensuring quality imaging and patient care, and monitoring patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services
  • Ensure quality imaging and patient care
  • Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members
  • Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching
  • Provide input to staff performance evaluations
  • Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT, or Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
