Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of interventional imaging services, ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services
  • Ensure quality imaging, patient care, and workflow
  • Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed
  • Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching
  • Provide input to staff performance evaluations
  • Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required
  • One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required
